Strange

I didn’t know I could find comfort in
The taste of old cigarettes on a stranger’s mouth
Or an unknown body, slipping into mine
In an unfamiliar bed

But I learned this like I learned I could feel alone in the arms
Of a person who I thought I loved and loved me
Like I learned I could feel strange in a familiar bed
